At That Time

"Leggo di president!!!”
He said with utmost fervour and impassioned delight. LEGGO DI PRESIDENT!!!! LEF ‘IM! Like a man who put down his entire month’s salary on a handicapped thoroughbred, he whipped the air of the restaurant into a tempest in a teacup. His eyes on fire, as the votes were tallied to convict or acquit number 45. He was the owner of the establishment and not a single person challenged my Jamaican compatriot watching these two numbers race to determine the fate of the president of the United States. Regardless of the pre-determined outcome, it was a surreal moment. And right there I realized just how deep AND wide affection for this leader was. So many hours after, I am still in awe.

His eyes on fire, as the votes were tallied to convict or acquit number 45. Regardless of the pre-determined outcome, it was a surreal moment. And right there I realized just how deep AND wide affection for this leader was. So many hours after, I am still in awe.
“My time has not yet come.”
Peter stood in awe as his Saviour healed an ear he just lopped off with his sword. Why, Jesus?!? Why in the world would you do such a thing to someone who wants to see you dead?!!? Why would you care? Why not strike them down?!? You are the most powerful man in Israel?! In the world for that matter!! You are the same powerful being that struck down hundreds if not thousands who wanted to continue enslaving Hebrew refugees. Why let evil reign oh God??!! Messiah, why won’t you rise and strike down those who hate you and everything you love?!?!
As He said to his mother just a few years before.
“My time has not yet come.”
It is important to always know, that one of God’s most important tools during the great conflict on this planet…is time. Our impatience as temporal beings more often than not gets the better of us. As revelations and prophecies swirl around us and all we want to do is understand…WHY???
Here is why. For all things to work together for good, they must do so in perfect timing. Like the parts of a watch in the background, behind the face, working together to make the hands move. God speaks to us through timing. And sometimes, the limit of our faith may take us beyond our entire life span.
That ailment may never be healed.
That heart may never be won.
That family may never escape that generational curse.
BUT my dear friend, these are TEMPORAL realities whose limits ultimately are controlled by an Infinite Power who was and is…eons…before now, began. He exists outside of the construct of time. And while we struggle with the baggage of human expectations, He puts us in a beautiful embrace of peace as He calmly whispers…”My time…has not…yet come”.
Be patient little one. Michael WILL rise. And when He does you will be in absolute awe, as you proclaim….
